Pastor D.A. Slinkard
D.A. Slinkard serves as the devoted pastor of Trinity Baptist Church. His journey of faith is a testament to the transformative power of God’s grace. At the age of 28, he experienced the life-changing moment of accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Eight years later, he felt the undeniable call to the ministry to preach the word, stepping forward in obedience to God’s plan for his life.
Pastor Slinkard is deeply committed to both learning and teaching God’s Word. He pursued and completed theological training at Madison Baptist Theological Seminary in Madison, Alabama, followed by earning a Master’s degree from Gethsemane Bible Institute in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. These experiences not only deepened his faith but also prepared him to guide others in their spiritual journeys.
Before coming to Trinity Baptist Church, Pastor Slinkard served as an assistant pastor at Madison Baptist Church. There, he developed a heart for ministering to others and building meaningful connections within the church family. On December 15, 2024, he joyfully accepted God’s call to lead Trinity Baptist Church, where he now serves with love, humility, and a strong commitment to sharing the truth of God’s Word.
Family is at the heart of Pastor Slinkard’s life. He has been happily married to his wife, Mindy, since May 31, 2003. Together, they have two wonderful daughters who bring endless joy and inspiration. Whether spending time together as a family or serving alongside each other in ministry, the Slinkard family is united in their love for the Lord and their dedication to Trinity Baptist Church.
Pastor Slinkard is passionate about helping others grow in their faith, preaching messages of hope and encouragement, and fostering a warm and welcoming church community. He considers it an incredible blessing to walk alongside his congregation as they seek to know and follow Christ more each day.
