We are all sinners

1.

Romans 3:23, "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;"

There is a penalty for sin

Romans 6:23, "For the wages of sin is death..."

According to the Bible, the punishment for the sin that we have committed is Hell.

Jesus paid that penalty

We must believe that Jesus died, was buried, and rose from the dead so that He could give us eternal life.

Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Eternal Life is a Free Gift

Many people believe that Heaven is a reward for those who live right, however, if we get what we deserve we would all be in Hell. Heaven is not earned but is a gift freely given to those who trust in Jesus to be their Saviour! Romans 6:23 says, "...the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

The Bible says that if we will completely trust in Jesus to save us that He will give us eternal life! Once you are saved, you can never lose your salvation. It is a gift and it is everlasting!

John 10:28 says, "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand."

Romans 10:13, "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Dear Jesus,

I know that I am a sinner, and I deserve to go to Hell, but I believe that you died for me and rose again from the dead. Please save me and give me the gift of eternal life. I am trusting only you to be my Saviour. In Jesus name, Amen.
